Andy was ordained in the Church of England in 1997 and has worked in various posts around the Diocese of Lichfield.
Originally from Yorkshire, Andy is a passionate Yorkshire Cricket follower and Leeds United fan, and in his spare time he plays football (over 50’s walk-in football) and I am being tempted out of retirement to play cricket again this coming year.
On his continued appointment as Chaplain to the High Sheriff he said “I am delighted to be asked to assist Mandy as the High Sheriff of Shropshire for the next 12 months.”
“I would love to be able to visit as many community and voluntary groups and businesses who operate successful corporate social responsibility programmes as I can, to say thank you for what they do, so if you know of an organisation who would like a visit, please let me know.”
